Terms of Service

The basis on which we work together.

These starter terms outline how SRPI engagements are scoped, delivered and governed, and what each party is responsible for.

Services and scope

SRPI provides research support, analysis, editing, coaching and publication guidance. Each engagement is defined by a written scope confirming deliverables, boundaries, review rounds and fees.

Work outside the agreed scope is undertaken only after a revised scope is approved by both parties.

Ethical limits

We do not accept authorship, produce work to be submitted as a client's own unaided effort, fabricate or alter data, manipulate citations, or promise publication, indexing, grades or editorial outcomes.

We may decline or discontinue an engagement that would breach these limits or applicable academic-integrity rules.

Client responsibilities

You confirm that you have the right to share the materials you provide, that any required ethical approvals and participant consents are in place, and that the support you request is permitted by your institution or publisher.

You review and approve all work before submission, and remain the author and accountable party for anything you submit.

Fees and payment

Fees are quoted per engagement based on scope, complexity, data volume, deadline and publication stage. Payment terms are stated in your written scope or invoice.

Timelines

Schedules are agreed during scoping and depend on the completeness of materials you provide and the speed of your reviews. Journal review timelines are controlled by publishers and are outside our influence.

Intellectual property and confidentiality

You retain ownership of your research, data and manuscripts. SRPI retains ownership of its own templates, methods and internal materials.

Both parties treat non-public information exchanged during the engagement as confidential.

Limitation of liability

Services are advisory and educational. SRPI is not liable for editorial decisions, examination outcomes, institutional determinations or any consequential loss arising from them. Final wording will be confirmed after legal review.

Governing law

The governing law and dispute-resolution process will be specified after legal review and company registration details are finalised.

Contact details for policy enquiries will be published once the business email and domain are configured.
